It’s not just about sex, drugs and rock and roll. Rock just got nobler. With the spirit of supporting the Bombay Teen Challenge, Ocean Colour Scene, James Walsh and Luke Kenny are all set to perform for the Freedom Tour 2010, a part of the March on Stage initiative by the Hard Rock Café, India. The gig will be held on 31 March, 2010, at Hard Rock Café, Mumbai. The proceeds of the gig will go to the BTC, an organization that is dedicated to women used in commercial sex and their children. 31 March, Mumbai Hard Rock Café 1st April, Delhi,Hard Rock Café 2nd April, Hyderabad Hard Rock Café 8:30 pm onwards Ocean Colour Scene are a rock n folk band from Birmingham who knocked the mighty Oasis off the top spot not too long ago. James Walsh is the lead vocalist of Starsailor, who has supported bands and artistes like U2, The Police, The Rolling Stones, and the Killers. Luke Kenny is a musician, VJ, DJ, film director, and a music programmer. He gained fame after his role of a keyboardist in Rock on in 2008.

 And another kickass international live act all set to take India by storm. The superawesome British progressive rock/ psychedelic rock/ trip hop/ trance band Porcupine Tree will be playing live on December 21, 09 at Mood Indigo Livewire, one of the biggest, best and most prestigious rock fesitvals in India held at IIT Bombay. And, it's been confirmed on the band's MySpace page that Steven Wilson (lead guitars and vocals), Gavin Harrison (drums), Colin Edwin (bassist), and Richard Barbieri (keyboardist) would be live and loud here!

 Taking hiatus is bad for a band in more ways than one. But, the Bombay-based hard rock and alternative band Human Abstract have not wasted any time ever since their comeback post a two year absence. The band has released their debut EP Two Point Perspective. Consisting of five songs and a remix, Two Point Perspective is an attempt at highlighting youth issues and views, and also delves into personal insights of the members.
