More about the band: Altered Reality is a Mumbai (India) based Commercial English Indie Pop/Rock Band with Contemporary Hindustani music and vocal influences. A well known band when it comes to corporate events. Altered Reality had their work played internationally. The band was formed some time in Jan 07 by Lead Singer Varun.

Altered Reality makes music which appeals to everyone, not only targeting a rock audience. We bring the energy of the music to the masses... giving anyone the chance to be a rocker... the main thing is that u don’t have to be a musical genius to get our music...simple and easy on the ear giving any listener the capability to play or sing along with us!!!

The finished product was something different with many elements put together from different genres of music, it sounded good....also `it must sell`! AR decided that Commercial is the way to go, but without selling your musical soul to the music devil!!!!!

Every member in the band has their distinctive influences and brings their own personal touch to the music. The core belief of Altered Reality is `Originality`. No band is idolized when it comes to compositions and the band has a very distinctive feel, varying from an Alternative Core to a Crazy Punk Feel too Hard Hitting Progressive Influences, eventually delivering an original Independent sound.

Altered Reality has played many Live Events with some Big Names in the Media Industry. Their debut track `Identity` was played on Radio Mirchi by the popular RJ Jeeturaaj on 10th August 07.

Also Altered Reality’s second track `Here without Me` was released over the internet, which moved up to #2 on the International Alternative General Rock Charts in less than 72hours.
