Taking hiatus is bad for a band in more ways than one. But, the Bombay-based hard rock and alternative band Human Abstract have not wasted any time ever since their comeback post a two year absence. The band has released their debut EP Two Point Perspective.

Consisting of five songs and a remix, Two Point Perspective is an attempt at highlighting youth issues and views, and also delves into personal insights of the members.

The band did many shows before taking a break. They won competitions like S.I.E.S College, Nerul (2004) and PIIT, Panvel (2004) and reached the finals of Channel V Launchpad (2004 and 2007) and MTV Campus Rock Idols (2004). The band has also done shows for social and political causes, like a show for Tsunami Relief at SPCE College, Andheri (2004) and “Rock Against Reservation” organized at Razz (2006) against the quota system.
